As a way of saying thank you for our help over the three days, Ali invited us to join 100 or so other celebrants on a sunset harbor cruise thru Marina Del Rey..
There was food (which I’m good at), and dancing (which I’m not).
Everyone did both in abundance.
The occasion was to celebrate Ali’s birthday, and all the proceeds went to the Humane Society so it was a win for everyone.
I got to hang out with rising star and Copywriting Mentor Extraordinaire Lorrie Morgan Ferraro, (that's my very best deer-in-the-headlights expression). And that’s me with my assisting pals and Ali, all enjoying ourselves, all ecstatic (and a bit relieved) everything went so well.
A good time was had by all – and I slept in most of the day Saturday.
