Friends Don’t Let Friends Record to Tape

Recording Your Teleseminars Digitally
Will Pay Off Big Time on Your Bottom Line

Chances are, if you want to make money from products created from your phone-based workshops, coaching groups and seminars you’re going to want to:

  • Sell them via CD
  • Make them available via streaming audio
  • Sell them via downloadable MP3

And what is it all three formats have in common? Right – they’re digital. Now you may not think of CD as a digital format because you can hold it in your hand. But make no mistake, the audio must be in digital format before you can burn it to the CD. Or stream it. Or download it.

Which brings up the fact that if you’re going to create products from your teleseminars, you MUST do it digitally.

Why is this?

Well, the biggest thing is that tape is NOT a digital format. Which means that to get your taped phone recordings into digital format, you have to re-record your entire program from your tape recorder to your computer.

And there’s no short cut or magic formula to doing this. So if your program was an hour in length, its going to take you at least ANOTHER HOUR to digitize it. If your program is 90 minutes, you’re looking at an hour and 45 minutes. At least.

Put a number of these calls together, and you’re talking not only real time, but real money. Just bill out your hourly rate by the amount of time its taking you to convert tape to digital. Hmmm . . .

Even if you farm it out, that’s still money out of your pocket.

So, if you’re planning on making recorded teleseminars a major player in your revenue picture, you’d be very wise to learn to record your calls digitally right off the bat.
